The three were as perfect as one can experience when one is not feeling well. Celeste, the receptionist, was so helpful correcting my registration error! Each person was professional, compassionate, kind, caring, time considerate, and efficient. The Care Provider Adrian and her Tech Mr. A., are HIGHLY recommended! Such an amazing place! When you don’t feel well how you are treated matters!! From the moment I stepped in the door until I left I was treated outstanding! Super clean and pretty location. They made the process to check in to taking insurance super easy and fast and the wait wasn’t long at all! I came in got seen and was sent on about my way everything was fast and simple! Everyone’s energy was amazing and they helped me forget I even wasn’t feeling well! So far it has been a great experience and I think this very convenient for a mild emergency situation. Beyond satisfied. I would definitely come back again. Smooth process and waiting can vary but it is faster than the ER.

Got throat infection. Did test on Sunday. The results were back on Tuesday morning. I can see them thru Quest portal. Antibiotic needed and pain is involved.Midwest clinic got results on Tuesday morning. No one called to review and prescribe medicine. Called Midwest 2 times ! to request a review of the results and prescribe medicine ASAP.No help, “we are very busy, will call you back”All day of pain only because Midwest that can not review. Confirmed infected patient with pain - should be a number one priority.

This is my first time coming to a Midwest clinic and it was possibly one, if not the worst experiences of my entire life. When I first checked in and I was let into the back I was sent to a room where I Was taken care of when it came into terms of my temperature and heart rate and things of that nature. I then wish into a different room where I was told to wait. The main problem I had with this place is the staff. In my entire 23 years of Going to doctors offices I have never had an experience where they had to prick me four times to try and get blood for me. Every time I have gotten Blood drawn or donated blood or anything involving that it was always a simple process. One trick, and then the blood flow was easy. I am a healthy person. I have never had issues with my blood and donating, and how my blood flows I am not sure if it was because the staff was not talented or just not good at freaking people to get their blood drawn, but I have always doubt it done and it was never Until I came here

Aleassia made this visit so great!! She was such a ball of energy with great professionalism. As soon as my name was called she was all smiles and very pleasant to speak with, thank you for amazing patient care!

Be careful when getting your TB skin test. Initially, I did not have any issue while getting the Tuberculin antigen on my skin. But when I went back 2days later to get my arm checked for the result, the NP without properly checking called that I have positive TB test and I need to get Chest X-ray. She was so close to sign off my document like that.She looked at the arm from far, the injection site did not have any swelling or induration, just had redness which is a normal reaction. I had to keep telling her that her decision is not correct. I had done this test before and I know how a negative/normal result looks like. Later she went in the office, got a tape and she keeps tapping at the injected site before she could measure the induration. It felt like she was trying to make it swell and make up a positive result. Nobody taps the injected site to get the induration reading, it does not work like that. Since, I knew her inital call was wrong and she cant scam me, at last she had to write the result was normal as it was normal to begin with.But this makes me wonder, if I was not aware of the how the test works, I would have been totally forced to get a Chest X-ray for no reason. So just be careful on this one.

The staff was pleasant and the wait times weren’t super long. However, Elizabeth the NP simply provided me with antibiotics and sent me on my way when I was in extreme pain due to an abscess. I went somewhere else and they were shocked they didn’t drain it. I am feeling way better after going somewhere else. I would be weary of the patient care here. It seemed like they didn’t care about my pain and wouldn’t do anything but give me antibiotics. If you have a cold or something like that, this is the place for you. If you have a more serious issue, I would go somewhere else.

I have gone to different urgent care clinics and this is by far my favorite. Service is so quick. The most time i’ve spent there is maybe an hour and a half if that. Everyone is always so nice, they seem to care for what they do and are empathetic.

I got there early and was seen within 6mins Aleassia was fantastic from the time she walked us to the back until she drained my daughter ear. She was polite, funny and caring she made sure my daughter was okay with everything that was taking place. I will definitely return to Midwest Express Clinic.

I’ve been to many urgent care clinics, but this one truly made the experience less stressful. Big shoutout to Aleassia—she was absolutely amazing! She made me feel at ease, and even had me laughing while taking my vitals.

Aleassia was a great practitioner. She was so funny and easy going. I went in for something that’s usually awkward and uncomfortable, but Aleassia made the whole experience feel safe and judgment-free. She was also amazing at drawing blood, which is rare for me since most nurses have trouble finding my vein. She got it on the first try, and it was nearly painless.

I had to visit this primary care office due to an emergency, and I didn’t have an appointment. I was fortunate to be attended by Nurse Elizabeth Bolanos. From the moment I arrived, she was very welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable despite the situation. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and patient throughout my visit. What really stood out to me was that she’s bilingual, which made communication much easier and more reassuring. I truly appreciated how she took the time to explain everything clearly and address all of my concerns. I highly recommend this place all the team is amazing! Thanks everyone!

A very painful and bad experience. Terrible staff. They are not trained enough to draw blood yet they are employed and are around needles. If the staff is not well trained to draw blood they shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. They drew blood twice, 2 different people. I called after a few days coz the reports were not available that’s when they told me that the blood samples they got was not enough. They didn’t even have the basic decency to inform that the tests are not being ran in the first place and the other is poorly trained staff. A very painful and bad experience.

I came to this urgent care due to an accident that caused injuries to my lower back and tailbone. Unfortunately, my experience here was beyond disappointing. The provider showed a shocking lack of professionalism, compassion, and possibly even racial bias.1. Racial Microaggression?This isn’t directly related to my medical issue, but it made me very uncomfortable. After just exchanging one or two sentences with me, the provider suddenly asked, “Are you comfortable with English?” I’m Asian, and I’m well aware that the clinic offers Spanish-language services—but I doubt they offer services in any Asian languages. So why the question? It felt like an unnecessary and inappropriate assumption based on my appearance.2. Dismissive AttitudeThroughout the visit, the provider interrupted me before I could finish explaining my symptoms, acting like she was in a rush to get it over with.3. Forgot to Send My PrescriptionShe failed to send my painkiller prescription to the pharmacy. I waited in pain for an hour and a half, only to be told twice by the pharmacy that no order was on file. When I returned to the clinic to ask, it turned out she had forgotten to send it. I asked how long it would take now—she casually told me I could just go home and come back tomorrow. Excuse me? I’m in pain and visibly uncomfortable. It wasn’t until I explicitly asked for a printed prescription that she finally gave me one—which was the only way I ended up getting my medication.4. X-Ray Referral Was UnreasonableShe referred me to an imaging center 30–40 minutes away by car—without even asking whether I had transportation. I didn’t drive that day and could barely sit or stand comfortably. Even if that was the only available option, it would’ve been decent to ask or explain beforehand.5. Delayed Follow-Up for URGENT CareI had my X-ray taken on Saturday. No one followed up until Tuesday afternoon, after I had to call multiple times. This is an urgent care facility—I came here because my condition was urgent.6. Incomplete Result ReviewThe most painful area was my tailbone. During the results review, the provider only went over my spine and seemed ready to end the visit. I had to point out that my tailbone was the main issue and that it was imaged too. Only then did she look further. However, the final report I received made no mention of the tailbone. I was told that “lumbosacral” coverage includes the tailbone—but I’m not convinced, and I wonder if it’s just my lack of medical knowledge being exploited here.In the end, maybe this injury will heal on its own with enough rest. But this experience was unacceptable. I believe someone from the clinic tried calling me about a previous poor review I left—no need to call again. This Google review explains it all.

We’ve always had a great experience here. We are seen quickly, and the care is very good. We recently received attention from Aleassia and she was wonderful. So friendly and caring.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please avoid. First of of all, wait times are ridiculous, waited about 1.5 hrs to see a PA not even MD, saw the PA for about 5 mins, no physical exam involved but of course got a hefty charge with a billing code for a complex reason for 45mins. Second of all, results were back on Quest and tried the clinic multiple time to get prescription for obvious infection to be sent and did not get a call back until 2 weeks after the fact. Very poor service, please avoid. Find a clinic with actual physicians.

Great care. However, check your bills! I was billed for multiple line items of services that werent rendered.UPDATE: The local office staff assured me theyd take care of this after confirming the error based on my chart. And the billing department couldnt do anything without the patient advocate – who cannot be reached. After getting calls and letters from their billing dept, I finally threw in the towel and paid in full for the overbilled amount. Patient advocate never picked up phone after multiple calls and left voicemails over weeks. This should have been an adjustment that takes 10 seconds... Disappointing.

Ive now been to the Midwest Express Clinic in the West Loop twice and both were great experiences. The first time I went was for an annual physical and it went great. I had to wait a little bit because they are a smaller clinic and there were people ahead of me, but once I got looked at the experience was smooth.The second time I went I get in and got out very quick. The staff is extremely nice and makes you feel welcomed. Im happy I found them and will continue to come here.

The care provider was very nice and also thorough. She provided suggestions for care and offered a plan for follow-up. Her customer service skils were great. I would definitely recommend this clinic and this care provider. Thank you.

I would tell people, please visit this location if you are not feeling well. They will get you right or try in a dignified way.

On-line you are able to choose a time to save your place in line and you can also pre-register to save time. The facility is super clean and the staff and Dr were very nice.

The receptionist was Offbeat, I figured probably new. I figured she couldve communicated a little better. Cause it was a Console blocking her present from you. Even though she was filling out some forms for you. She didnt say enough to let you know what was going on. She couldve said have a seat . Ill call you when Im through with your ID and medical card.. Seem like I stood there forever. The nurse was excellent, she Should be recommended doing her part. She even offered water to me, which was refreshing. I love that and I love that doctor. She was very caring and wonderful. Gave me everything I needed to feel better. Because I know I got a ways to go. This is the next morning after. What Difference a day make. Thank you

I had very poor experience at this clinic .They never followed up with my results it’s been more than 5 days, I called multiple times and they never returned my calls.The phlebotomist who works there doesn’t know how to draw the blood , she tried 4 times and still didn’t get enough blood,I felt very dizzy and almost faint when I left this clinic.Terrible and poor trained staff.

Came here last month and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Scheduled an appt beforehand and was seen after a short wait time. Dustin was a great provider! 10/10! He was thorough and allowed me to ask some additional questions related to other health needs. It was a relief that he was so cheerful and welcoming to hear out my concerns. Got off a plane and went right to this clinic, after dealing with a cold for days. Aleassia was so pleasant, genuine and made the start of my appointment go so smoothly.

The staff was friendly, the check in process was very easy, and I saw the doctor very quickly. My total trip was about 30 minutes. I also really like this location because they have free parking in the Walgreens lot.

Came in for an illness visit due to persistent coughing and new respiratory symptoms. From check-in to check-out, the process was seamless. The MAs and the NP were phenomenal and super helpful. All my questions were answered and all of my concerns were addressed in a timely and professional manner. I was here a few weeks ago for a similar illness and re-assured that that illness had cleared up and this was something different; it’s hard to not get sick when you’re working with children. Was told to come back again if symptoms don’t respond in x number of days. These people know what they’re doing! Highly recommend this particular clinic 10/10 to family and friends!

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and were seen in under an hour which was wonderful. I would definitely recommend walking in, rather than an appointment, because it’s first come, first serve.The nurse and doctor were kind and made my daughter feel very safe. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic for her that wasn’t going to be available for a few days. I called because we needed the antibiotic sooner. They changed the prescription to another for her ear infection and I was able to pick it up that night.Would highly recommend this location. I would also say to manage expectations. These urgent care centers get bombarded with a variety of cases, especially in the winter, and do the best they can with the limited resources. They’re not a full on hospital.This place seemed to operate very efficiently and have a good staff.

Had a great experience here! Was able to get an appointment within a half hour of checking their availability. Did the intake online and then showed up. Was called back within 5 min of arriving and had great customer service from everyone! The NP listened to me and provided me great advice to manage sinus infection. Would highly recommend this place!

Liars! I went there to get a flu vaccine, I called and made an appointment and asked how much it will cost, I paid in person, then they send me another bill. I called their accounting department and they didn’t answer, I left the voice mail with explanation, they didn’t even call back. And send it to collection, it’s $45!!! You’re liars!!!

Service so fast I couldn’t finish the sign in sheet and had a wonderful experienceUpdate: I can’t let it go but I called to make sure that the reason why I didn’t see anything for my test results was because I was clean and they repeated an email that I had used before I graduated from school and lost access to so they snooped and learned about an email that I didn’t write down on the paperwork that I filled out.. isn’t that against the privacy policy?? I ended up hanging up in pure confusion just to call again to get a different person and finally heard my results.. so I’m sorry but it won’t stop messing with me so my five star review is coming down to a one star review now. Don’t snoop on your patients!!

I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. The facility seemed to be short-staffed and focused on quick turnover rather than providing thorough and preventive care. I felt that my concerns were not addressed by the nurse practitioner, Diane, and there were issues with sample handling, test orders, and documentation accuracy. I also encountered delays in resolving these issues, which was frustrating. I believe that with more attention to patient care, these issues could have been avoided, and I hope that the facility can improve in the future.

Don’t recommend. Knowingly gave me an antibiotic they said may not work. Told me to call if my symptoms came back-they did, so I called, was told someone would call back, and they never did. Ended up having to spend more money, time, and energy going somewhere.

Had a great experience here given the circumstances! We dealt with 2 nurses and a doctor and all 3 of them were incredible with our 8 month old baby. They were attentive, caring, patient, and so loving towards her, knowing that she wouldn’t be happy with the various tests. The wait time was also surprisingly minimal, both in the waiting room and the exam rooms. I’m grateful we received quick and great care here. Definitely one of our best experiences at immediate care.

Ive never gone to an urgent care that felt so experienced. I get recurrent ear infections and dread going to the urgent care because they often dont trust the way i know my body. Ive had urgent care people tell me i dont actually have an infection, or that they have to give me oral antibiotics, etc etc. Dr. V (dont remember her full last name) trusted me and asked me what i usually get prescribed. I had such a great experience with her and feel great.

I dislocated my shoulder and I called the office to make sure they do this procedure. The assistant on the phone told me that they will evaluate the situation but if necessary then they do do it. I asked once more to make sure I Understood and she said yes. I then got there asked again to the receptionist and then to the person who took my pulse, they both said dr. will look at me and if necessary they can do it and let me know I might need to go to the other office in uptown for an X-ray. Then when the nurse practitioner came in, she told me I indeed had a dislocated shoulder and they absolutely do NOT do this type of procedure at the office and that I have to go to an ER. VERY disappointing keeping in mind I called before going. If I wouldve known this information I would have gone to the ER from the beginning even if it was a little further. I was in pain the whole time and they took a bit of time to see me but nurse practitioner China was very nice and at least she was able to help me with a shot for the pain I was going through. She sent me with a paper for the hospital. I was happy with her and the person who gave me the shot but very disappointed in the other staff who need to be better informed.

I injured my knee while visiting from out of town, and hobbled two blocks to the Midwest Express Clinic West Loop. The staff were cheerful and excellent from start to finish. When I left within one half hour, I was feeling much better, with clear instructions on any follow-up care I might need. I was lucky - and thankful - to have a clinic near me that provided such excellent service.

Check in online was easy and smooth. When I arrived at the clinic, the staff greeted me in a friendly and professional manner. The space is bright, cheerful and clean. I was seen right away. And Nurse Practitioner was efficient, thorough and listened to what I had to say. I have always liked Midwest Express much better and avoided Physicians Immediate Care (their patient care is terrible— staff are always grumpy and medical staff are not competent in their diagnoses) if at all possible.

I found many good comments for this clinic on Google. At first I was worried if they were fake. After my visit, I found the staffs were really nice. Doctor is also very patient and explained very detailed for the treatment. She even type a note for me. I would recommend this clinic to others.

The staff was super sweet. I came in super sick & the doctor was able to see me quickly. She listened and provided education regarding why my ear infection was reoccurring. She took care of me better than my own PCP back in Boston! Thankful for her. I was able to get my antibiotics within a few hours I felt extremely better.💓💓

Loved this place. They tool excellent care of my daughter. Easy registration process. Fast. Clean. Superb service. We are in town for a tournament and having to find care was stressful. But the group was fantastic. Even got a promised follow up call the following morning to discuss xray results. Hopefully we wont have to visit them again the next time we come to Chicago but if the need arises, we know where to go.

This place is a joke and the “clinicians” too!Also, their billing department will chase you down and threaten to report you to the credit bureau all for owing less than $10.

I only want to leave this review so the nurses can understand how uncomfortable they made me. I was naked in the room with my legs on stirrups with the nurse practitioner and two separate nurses simple walked in without knocking and stared at my naked body. They said sorry however a mistake like that should not have even occurred as the door was closed. My experience other than that was fine but I hope this review lets the nurses there know that privacy is really important to guests and that their mistake made me really uncomfortable.

I had to bring my granddaughter to urgent care. The staff was kind, efficient and very thorough. We weee in and out in about 1 hour and half. Thank you for all of your care when we needed it most.

Making an appointment is useless. Not sure express should be in the name of your business when I have to wait over an hour to get a routine screening

My daughter came down with fever and a rash. We took her as a walk in and she was seen pretty quickly. The staff were kind and attentive. We were able to get a treatment plan going for her. Honestly, it was a great experience.

I was a new patient with Midwest Express Clinic and walked-in for my first visit. Elizabeth at the front desk was professional, efficient, and friendly to answer all my questions. Wait time was good overall, nothing to complain about. Bridget helped me to get some basic information collection before I got to see Dr. Liz, who was absolutely professional and knew exactly my issue of my visit. I’m feel much better with the prescription and will do a follow-up check this Friday. Overall it was a great and pleasant experience! Great location, friendly staff, relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend visiting this clinic if needed!

Went in earlier this week for a TB Test for work. Signed in on the kiosk and was greeted by a warm and welcoming black woman with braids and glasses. She got me checked in quickly and administered my TB Test. I came back in a few days later for my reading and was in and out quickly and efficiently. Great customer service and clean environment!

This was by far one of my best experiences with any medical facility. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I showed up with two young children, both whom had strep throat. (Nightmare)The facility was nice and clean. They had children sized masks readily available. They also had lollipops and stickers which made the entire experience much better.The medical staff is extremely proficient and knowledgeable.Everyone kept apologizing for the wait… But honestly it wasn’t that bad. I expected much longer.The local pharmacy kept messing up the prescription they called in and they were extremely responsive and even called them back three times to make sure my daughter got the correct prescription.Thank you all!

Our recent clinic visit was a 10/10, all thanks to the attentive staff, particularly Ashley and Emily. Our 2-year-old son wasnt feeling well, and both Ashley and Emily were incredibly accommodating and caring. They made reviewing his symptoms a fun and comfortable experience for him. In just an hour, we were in and out, and his prescription was ready at our nearby pharmacy. Thank you!

The nurses and doctors were incredibly nice and understanding. Overall, my visit was a great experience. I presented several severe cold and flu symptoms and they first tested me to make sure it wasn’t strep, flu or covid and then prescribed me the right antibiotics since it was a bacterial infection. Overall an incredible service, I had to wait a bit before my appointment but considering I booked it online just a couple hours before my allotted time and all other clinics in town were full for two weeks it was actually very fast! I am so glad I live near such a useful and good quality service that can be accessed so quickly and easily.

Very bad service. Even if you have an appointment the wait time is 1 hour after taking vitals again wait time is 1 hour. This is not at all an Urgent care clinic. You die in pain by waiting no proper treatment on time

I was on work assignment in Chicago and feeling poorly. I looked at reviews for local urgent care options and stumbled on Midwest. The portal was easy to use and I got an appointment right away.The nurses ad doctors were thoughtful and thorough! I wish being sick was always this easy.Thank you all for caring for me away from home!

I didnt have an appointment but was able to walk in and was seen within 30 min. The front desk and all of the medical providers were inviting and professional. My prescriptions were called in immediately and I was home within 2 hours of when I left. Very impressed. Will definitely be back.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I never even got to go. I called to inquire if they accepted my insurance and how much it would cost to get a strep test. The staff was rude and kept saying they’d put me on hold and then hang up. Then when I would call back they would immediately hang up. I feel like these are standard questions and who ever was working the front desk that day decided to put in a lot more effort to not help.

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff on 11/1 at closing time. Came in at 7:30 and stayed till around 8:30 and they were so quick + helpful, im upset I didnt catch any names, i wish i could give them a shoutout. I’m a college student alone in Chicago, family in NY- the kindness they showed really went such a long way and it was the nicest urgent care visit i’ve had here. Thank you!

I been here twice and both experiences were great. The front desk receptionist was very friendly they checked you in and let you know your wait time so you won’t be surprise in case they’re super busy. The doctors were very informative and seem to be understanding. I would definitely drive 45 minutes if I needed urgent care.

Our visits with Midwest are always pleasant. The staff is fast, efficient, and courteous. They have X-RAY and that’s a plus. The location is convenient for my family and their parking lot is just across the street. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the parking, however. The spots are small and limited.

I went here with my 3 year old yesterday and latera was the best. She was nice and patient. It was our first time coming to this location and I loved it! I loved the lobby , the cleanliness of the place and latera kept my child occupied and quiet when I went to restroom by giving her toys and stickers. The visit was amazing.

Went here because I recently lost insurance but saw online they had a payment plan option. I walk in and ask about said payment plan and was told it’s 125$ upfront and whatever cost they charge for labs done and there was no payment plan option nor was it “affordable” . This information should be right under” walk-ins welcome “ so people don’t waste their time nor money

Unfortunately I have had on a few occasions the need to go to this clinic but fortunately I have always had a stellar experience. EVERYONE is this clinic is attentive, helpful, and really pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend anyone that needs an urgent care clinic to try this one, you won’t be disappointed

I love this place. First time patient and Ill be back if the need arises for me or my family members. My daughter actually referred me here because she was so impressed when she took my grandson there. I see why. The atmosphere is great and theyre extremely friendly and get you in and out in a timely manner. My nurse practitioner (I wished I remembered her name) was wonderful. She took the time with me and addressed my issue with the best of care. She was xtremely professional and down to earth. XRay tech was great as well. The only part I didnt care for is that I have to stay off my foot for 2 weeks. Lol. I stink at sitting still. Drs orders. I have to follow them if I want to recover. 😊😊

One of the best clinics I’ve ever been too! Went for a work physical and was in and out. Most places I had to wait over an hr just to get told they couldn’t do my physical. I called before going in the staff was very helpful and coming in the staff was very friendly!!

Efficient and effective. Still confirming the treatment cured my symptoms, but the doctor appointment and diagnosis process was quick and easy. Really liked my Doctor as well - caring, kind and smart. They even made an exception for me to get my prescription faster due to work conflicts. Highly recommend !

My experience at this urgent care clinic has been nothing short of amazing. Even though I didn’t check in online, the short time was only 10-15 minutes. The wait time for the doctor was around 20 minutes, depending on the number of patients there and what brought them in. They were able to schedule me for an ultrasound on the same day. I just can’t say enough good things about this clinic and the staff that works here. They are attentive and answer all your questions. I have been feeling anxious lately but I hardly felt anxious while waiting. That’s how great the service was. Highly recommend!

Everyone was very nice, except the medical assistant, she kept repeating herself like sit down on the bench. I had to tell her please I can understand you first time around. Other than that it was a nice visit. I was in and out. Like 2 hrs.Following up, they did reach out to me very concerning about my experience and apologized. They handled the issue and reassured me it wont happen again. They really care about their patients, I can say that.

Very frustrating experience. The clinic needs a better online signup process. The website says that the times listed are not appointment times, but labeling something ‘visit time’ clearly implies they have availability to see patients in that general timeframe. I wanted bring my child in for an urgent care appointment, and the website showed available times every 5 minutes starting pretty much immediately, which suggested they were not busy. When I showed up the waiting room was full and I was told that there would also be a long wait once we were called to the back, because they only had one provider. So my daughter was not seen for over an hour and half after the visit time. If their website had accurately indicated their availability, I would have gone somewhere else.

Very nice office! Parking lot in the same building (entrance is on the opposite side of the building from the front door). Speedy iPad check-in process and pretty short wait times. Nothing bad to say about the experience.

I have been coming to M.E. for a decade now and have always been extremely satisfied with the service providers. I have sent at least 5 referrals to the Greektown location over the years because the staff does a great job getting you in quickly and thoroughly diagnosing whats going on.

I got in fast to see a doctor, front desk was very friendly, excellent customer service, medical assistant were very friendly. Doctor was on point sent my script over. I was on my way!! Would recommend coming here for fast results.

I’ve been to this location a few times (for my own health and to tag along with my partner when he’s been ill.) All experiences have been solid—even on busy days. One of the most notable aspects of this location is the great quality of providers. We’ve seen PAs and NPs at this location, and they’ve all been super thorough, helpful and caring.I had a particularly great experience on Nov. 27 with my provider, Mev. She was very friendly, truly listened to my concerns and gave me a thorough exam. This was one of the first times I’ve been to an urgent care clinic and haven’t felt rushed or dismissed as “just a cold”.She assured me she’d follow up with x-ray results later that day, and I heard from her less than an hour later with an update and a thorough plan of care. She answered all my questions, and set up a follow up appointment for later in the week.I was very impressed and felt that she left no stone unturned.The medical assistant at this appointment, AJ, was great. She was very friendly, listened, asked follow up questions about my medications and was extremely polite and easy to talk to. It didn’t feel like a “going through the motions” experience, which was greatly appreciated!Visiting an urgent care facility is never a fun experience—especially when one doesn’t feel well. I would definitely return to this location for their caring staff and thorough providers.

We went to the clinic for the first time and we really liked the treatment from the moment we called, very friendly, the first and third time a very professional staff. The second time we went to follow up on my little ones treatment, the nurse who treated him was not very friendly.Also we are self pay patients and it is not as expensive as we thought, it is even cheaper than making the appointment and going to the hospital even for an emergency.

It was a busy time for them when I walked in. Saw a nurse super quick to give information. The doctor pretty soon after that. I Siad this isnt right, so step one was some over the counter stuff and if it got worse they will have antibiotics ready on file. Been two days and Im already feeling better per her recondmendation. It was my first time visiting and I am very grateful for their care and service. The front desk staff, nurse practitioner and doctor were very welcoming and compassionate! I felt very safe and they took their time to listen to my concerns. I was surprised how calm I felt, I love the energy of this place. Everything was done quickly, but calmly and professionally. This is the type of energy and space we need when we feel unwell, I am very grateful I came here and I will definitely be back for follow ups. I highly recommend them!!

Emily treated me and she was extremely thorough, asked lots of questions, and assessed my situation really well. I had to come back on here and update my review! You give me a provider that won’t be back for days then tell me I have to come all the way back here to see another provider to send a doggone script to the pharmacy or wait days for the other one to come back! I come all the way back and I’m sitting again like I didn’t sit and wait yesterday! I will never do another urgent care or express bs again! I’ll rather go to the ER! At least you leave knowing what’s wrong and with the damn script

Its nice and clean. Staff is great. BUT you should know the they sometimes have only one provider seeing patients, so unfortunately, wait times can be quite long.

My experience was great & the staff was informative & helpful. The facility was super clean & the staff was very nice & friendly. The wait time was less than 45 minutes, as a walk in patient, which was great as well. I would recommend Midwest Express Clinic to my friends & family.

Requested an early appt for next day and only waited about 5 minutes. A PA came in and did vitals and the dDR came in shortly to discuss. I needed a few X-rays from a fall and got those done in 10 minutes. Doc came back and reviewed and turned out I had a fractured toe. Gave me instructions on further care and out of the appt in less than 1 hour. The Dr. was great and office staff very professional.

If you need an urgent care, go here. The Midwest Express in the West Loop has the most friendly staff, a sparkling clean facility, and trustworthy, knowledgeable providers. I’ve been here twice and had the same provider, Mevlida Vranjaca, PA-C, both times. She is kind, empathetic, and does her absolute best to help you. The only potential con is the wait time (depending on when you go), but what else would you expect from an urgent care in a densely populated area? Just be patient! I recently had a workers comp incident and had to go to a different, nearby urgent care and it was a horrid experience. Made me appreciate this clinic even more!

The best experience weve had at a clinic ever! The staff, nurses and doctors are wonderful! Nice, helpful, do their best to accommodate everyones need as fast as they can. And everyone is so happy in the workplace. We were kept up-to-date on our wait, they helped us with parking and emailed us our COVID test results when we needed to leave to get to an event. I cant say enough good stuff about the folks at this Midwest Express Clinic. Thank goodness for kind, helpful, happy folks like this that are in the medical field keeping us healthy and safe! I got in line virtually, and only waited 10-15 min to be seen. The provider who helped me was kind, attentive and thorough. I ended up needing specialized imaging for which the tech was fully booked for several days, so my provider called the tech personally to ask her to squeeze me in, knowing I needed to be seen before traveling. She also followed up with me personally on the results. I’m very appreciative of the fast and high quality care I received.

Great quick service! There was a two hour wait in the ER for a x ray. I got in to see Midwest the next day. Ashley went above and beyond to get me a copy of my x ray. She was patient and waited on the phone with me until I received it. Turns out I wrote my email down wrong so after multiple tries Ashley was able to get it sent to the right email! Thanks again 10/10 will come back for any urgent care needs. Best part is they accept all types of insurance!

Overall, I would recommend this clinic for walk in services. The check in process was smooth and the front desk clearly explained the insurance/paperwork side of things. The PA did a good job and clearly explained the treatment plan. I did not give 5 stars due to my experience with the CMA. Our small child was not feeling well and in a clinic with strangers. It is normal to be frightened and hesitant. What was upsetting was being told that I needed to teach my child better. This commentary was not necessary for delivery of care.

My visit took place on 4/10/24.I didnt see a provider, I had a nurse visit for a B12+lipo. The receptionist may have been new but she was disorganized, rude and very nonchalant as respect to the patients in the lobby waiting. Calling patients up to the desk for business, but making them stand and wait as she took multiple calls and answered multiple questions on those calls. Instead of answering the phone and asking callers to hold in order to give proper respect to patients she had standing in front of her, she took calls and answered multiple questions. When I got called up to the desk, she did the same thing to me while running my payment. She then took the call to the back (without explaining anything), I attempted to stopped her and asked her if she could finish processing my payment and for my receipt, she responded shed be back! By the time shed returned, the payment had timed out and she had to process the payment again. But she didnt own that either telling me the computer malfunctioned, even tho she was able to process other payments before and after mine. Her lack of care was most apparent when the nurse asked if my visit was for a regular B12 shot and she responded yes. The nurse drew up the injection and called me in, I asked if it was a regular or w lipo and it was regular. If I hadnt caught it, I would have received the WRONG INJECTION. She should always double check before confirming when medication or injections are being given because that could be a liability. It doesnt seemed she was properly trained but her attitude was very poor and I dont know if you can train that out of someone.

Great experience. The clinic was slightly backed up and obviously understaffed but they were up for it. Despite the staffing issues, Dominique and Elizabeth were great and treated my daughter like she was the only one there. Dominique even followed up with us the next morning regarding my daughter’s prescription and to see how she was feeling. I will definitely return for any future medical needs. Friendly staff and a clean facility.

Rachel cared about my needs so much, that Midwest Express on Adams street, in Chicago, took me in at 6:12 when they close at 6pm. I live my Midwest Express family!

The Midwest Express Clinic on Adams was clean, very neat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit. Nurse Practitioner Mev, was friendly, patient, and thorough. Mev listened, took the time to address all of my concerns and provided excellent care. The fact that Mev also scheduled a follow-up appointment for me shows the commitment to ensuring my well-being. Great experience!

I no longer have health insurance but the out of pocket costs here are relatively affordable. My overall experience was great.

They are friendly and pleasant. Got seen within 30 mins of arrival while I waited... They have coffee! (Keurig). I was grateful for that. The complimentary parking at the Walgreens across the street makes this location one you should not hesitate to go. You will be treated well!

The reception staff was great, and the medical assistant and doctor were patient and attentive.However, I, unfortunately, can’t recommend this clinic for anyone who is currently low-income.I’m currently experiencing homelessness and on Medicaid. Before going to Midwest Express Clinic to receive care I checked their website to see if they accept Medicaid, and it said that they do. When I gave my Medicaid card to the receptionist there was no problem.A few weeks after being treated, though, I received a bill for over $400. The bill indicated that Medicaid had not paid for any of my treatment.Receiving an unexpected large bill is a hardship for me right now. It will take me some time to be able to pay off the bill, and I’m hoping that it does not get sent to collections before I’m able to pay it off.Also, be aware that when you go to receive care at Midwest Express Clinic they will make you put a card on file in order to receive care. In a lucky coincidence, I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one due to a fraudulent charge on my account, so they were not able to automatically charge my debit card for the $400. If you can’t afford to have the full cost of your care automatically taken out of your checking account, especially if your insurance ends up not covering things you expected to be covered, I recommend you go elsewhere.It’s a shame, because the medical care really was good, and I don’t know if there are any urgent/immediate cares that take Medicaid in Chicago.

I forgot my doctor & medical assistants names but I was in on Wednesday & they were the best. Staff here is always so super friendly & every time i visit this clinic it’s clean and i’m in and out with a diagnosis and prescription within 30-1 hour. They do their job thoroughly, quickly and make you feel super comfortable. i’m fortunate to have come across this clinic, they say they value their customers and they really do. I hope the staff is happy and treated right. They also except goverment insurance (Medicaid)

My initial consultation was pretty fast and very efficient. The staff is professional and personable. I had to come back 2 days later due to timing, but that can happen in some situations and this presented no real issues to me at all. I was able to get my treatment the same week and the pricing structure was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend this site at 779 W. Adams to anyone needing their services. Would avoid this Urgent Care Facility to avoid headaches, stress ontop of existing medical issues.Front Desk Interaction:Upon my arrival, after registering online, I encountered a delay in being greeted by the front desk staff. When the attendant did arrive, her demeanor was noticeably agitated, which may have inadvertently affected the quality of service provided to those waiting. It would be beneficial to ensure that all staff members are trained to handle their responsibilities with a consistently professional and patient-focused approach, regardless of internal stressors.Prescription Handling and Communication:There was a miscommunication regarding the location of my prescription delivery. It was stated that the medication would be sent to the pharmacy closest to my home; however, it was not. Additionally, the dosage of the medication prescribed was higher than what was discussed during my consultation with the doctor. This discrepancy not only necessitated further adjustments but also raised concerns about the potential for adverse health effects. Attention to detail in prescription processing is critical, and I suggest implementing a verification process to confirm that all prescriptions are accurate and properly communicated to the patients chosen pharmacy.Provider-Patient Communication:Lastly, it is imperative that there is clear and careful communication between the healthcare provider and the patient. Ensuring that the provider is attentive to the patients medical history and current needs will help prevent similar instances in the future. Perhaps a follow-up protocol could be established, allowing patients to confirm their understanding and agreement with the prescribed medication before leaving the facility.I hope will be constructive and lead to improved patient care and satisfaction.

I got very good care once I was seen. It was quite busy the day I went and I had to wait awhile. I was feeling very very bad the waiting was miserable. But that happens. Everyone was caring and understanding.

This was honestly the best experience I have ever had at a clinic. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I usually get pretty nervous but I felt much more relaxed after interacting with the staff. The music station is also pretty great.

The staff is super friendly. The 3 times ive been there ive been taken care of pretty quickly. When the hospital failed to give me proper treatment for an accident, this urgent care was able to stitch me up in no time at all. It was also way cheaper than an ER visit.

My chief of complaint was not answered by results I received so I have no idea if my issue is resolved so now I have to seek out more medical care. I will be informing my insurance of this issue as well as letting all my friends and family know to seek urgent care somewhere other than this establishment. I tried to contact the location to speak with the PA who assessed me and was told I would need to come in for a new appointment to ask about my results just so they can bill my insurance again. Please seek out your primary health care provider or another urgent care clinic, this place is a joke and insurance rip off.

Make sure to book your apt/“check in” online beforehand and there’s less than a 5-10 min wait once you arrive.My physician Mevlinda V. was one of the best providers I’ve ever had, and I work in healthcare so I can be quite picky with my dr’s. She was kind, attentive, informative, great bedside manner and really took the time to break things down step by step and explain things.Don’t sleep on this urgent care clinic yall, they’re great

Went in because of difficulty breathing due to herniated disc. Checked in online prior to my visit and saw Dr. Maeve (Mev?). The wait wasn’t bad at all. She was super informed, reassured me and answered all my questions. I had a scheduled appointment to see a neurosurgeon and let her know, so she was conservative with her prescription. Left feeling much better and with plans to improve upon my conditions until seeing the neurosurgeon.

Our experience at this clinic is as great. They saw us quickly, were very friendly and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back.

As a walk in not feeling well, they weee a breath of fresh air!!! Everyone was pleasantly helpful!I’m so upset at myself for not remembering my treating Dr’s name but she just may have saved my life! I pray this clinic and everyone that works many many blessings!

Update:I’ve been coming back to get all my medical needs checked and this place is run much better. You still have to wait a while in the rooms for the physician to see you but it still beats waiting to be seen by my primary which takes much longer than here. The physician on staff there now is amazing with bedside manners and takes their time with you.If I could give this place a -100 I would. Prime example of horrible healthcare system in US. I come in at 5:30pm with my daughter and they only had 1 person in the waiting room. The receptionist tells me “they reached their capacity for the day and can’t take anymore patients”. WOW. Is this an urgent care? We had no choice but to leave. Then at 7:30pm we drive by and it’s still open with one person in the waiting area. How can we in a place of a “pandemic” have an urgent care at 5:30pm deem themselves at capacity limit with no one in the waiting room and still stay open 2.5Hours later still accepting patients. Wrong on all levels. I wish I could say I was African American to call this racism but I’m just a single whiteMom trying to take care of her daughter under an overly sensitive CPS school system.

I was about to go to an urgent care for some pain symptoms I was having but I’m glad I found Midwest express clinic. My typical experience using urgent care is very long and takes hours. I was seen so fast. They helped me with exactly what I needed and was out the door in about an hour.FYI for those being seen for an ultrasound, it is an actual appointment time that you would need to be there on time vs the regular estimated “hold your place in line” check-in time visits.

I have a very good experience with Midwest Express Clinic. The stuff , medical team are experienced , kind and professional especially Jessica that she takes good care of me visiting that clinic. Her smile and kind words makes me comfortable in that office visit and she tries all her best to fix my problem.

The staff was amazing. My 8 month old baby has been sick for 2 weeks & his provider wasnt able to see him. I booked a check in yesterday and was seen right away. From the lady in the front desk being warm and welcoming to the ladies in the back being just as great! The NP he seen was Gabrielle and she was amazing and super helpful on what I should do to help my baby. This was only his second time coming here & both times the expierence being wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Who has time to be sick? Not me. This is my go to clinic if your a busy person who wants great service and needs to keep it moving. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You’ll be in and out. They had my meds ready at my local pharmacy right after I left. My physician Bolanos was excellent.

I was very impressed by the level of care I received by the nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants at the Midwest Clinic. They were patient and attentive to my needs. They were accommodating when needed and willing to consider alternatives when necessary. I would recommend their services and will return if needed.

ROBBERY. THEY NEVER FOLLOW UP, EVEN THOUGH YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES. ROBBERY. Would give 0 stars if I could. Never have I ever had such a bad experience at an urgent care in my life.The PA wrote my an order for a CT scan that didnt have an order number or enough information for the insurance or imaging centers to accept it. Realistically, the order was extremely vague and had no information except the scan to be done and clinics information.Ive called so many times to get an order number, and the front desk just tells me theyll relay it to the doctor / PA. Its been over a month, and Ive never received a call back. Additionally, when I call, I usually am on hold for absurdly long periods, after which the machine will automatically hang up with a voice mail directory, and Ill have to redial and get hold again, restarting the painful process.I also got blood tests done, and of course, I never got the results back, despite being told itd get emailed to me a few days after. On the website, it said youd be able to check results via the patient portal, the setup instructions of which should have been e-mailed after my visit. Of course, I didnt get an e-mail to setup the patient portal. When I called, they hadnt even initiated the process because they didnt have my email, yet I wrote it on forms and was never notified.The logistical and operational incompetence is baffling and comedically bad. What a joke!

It was my first time visiting and I was very pleased. The staff were very friendly and immediately acknowledged me as I entered the clinic. The nurse practitioner was very thorough and understanding. She was patient and concerned. The staff followed all proper steps in assisting me with my injuries.

I went in for a quick Rapid Covid-19 test. The facility was clean and well organized. I called ahead to fill out a form online and uploaded my insurance information. The nurses were lovely! The whole process only took about 45 minutes with the test results taking 15 minutes and waiting taking 30 minutes. Very impressed!Also, I tested negative so I got a lollipop.

Really nice clean office, staff is professional, wait time has been 10 to 20 mins. I have seen 2 excellent MDs at south loop. Both MDs were very patient and listened to my concerns and provided excellent treatment for my illness. Had walking or Community pneumonia and didnt know it. Midwest is now my go to for my B12 shots monthly.

Great experience! I arrived as a walk-in, and the staff was super helpful, fast and friendly. I had a pretty sore throat, and they were able to do a rapid test to make sure I didn’t have strep. In order to be sure, they also sent in swabs for a culture test. Overall, I felt the doctors and staff paid close attention to patients. Would recommend and will be back for anything else minor.

I was ailing but had a wonderful experience at Midwest Express, West Loop.Dr. Vranjaca was incredibly thorough and took great ti.e to review my test results. Later.Gave me questions to askmy primary care.Ashley at the front desk was outstanding...so gracious and efficient..she even sent me my results ectronicly

One of the NPs there named China (spelling??) was very nice and professional and a respectful listener. However, they faxed prescriptions to a wrong pharmacy for me

I needed to get a physical. Went in around noon, and had no wait time. Loved this place!! Super kid friendly. I had my two year old with me and she was a happy little camper. There is a small table and chairs, ready with paper and crayons place by a small television, and there was the same in the actual exam room...Im still floored by that one. Also, something small but notable, there was a small sofa in the room, and not the tight little chairs that you usually see, which I appreciated as a mom. They also offer free snacks and drinks as you wait, which came in handy with the little one. Staff was great. Overall great experience!!!

If I could give this place -5 stars, I would.The service is average, whatever.Their billing department is the worst I have ever dealt with.First of all, I give them a copy of my drivers license to copy my address from, they make a mistake noting down a nonexistent apt number.So they send my bill to the wrong address, the address doesnt exist really, they should have received a return to sender, a reasonable place would actually give you a courtesy call, send you an email.NO they automatically send your account to collections.After almost 5 months, you receive a text message asking you to pay the 9.72 dollars you owe them to protect your credit basically threatening you.They almost ruined my credit score by sheer incompetence and arrogance.An email or a courtesy call would have solved all this issues.And they wont acknowledge making a mistake. Every thing is per policy, Lord praise the policy like it is some infallible scripture.Also seems like their billing department is ran like a sweat shop to save a dime, you cant get a hold of anyone, you end up waiting an hour on the phone until the call automatically drops off, no wonder they make so many mistakes.I would rather die of leprosy than go here next time, just for the amount of stress they caused.

I came back from vacation with a sinus infection and needed to be seen to get meds for it. I tried 5 other minute clinics earlier in the day. They either refused to see me for 7 hours and were rude to me or werent open or their online registration system had errors. There was a wait at Midwest Express Clinic, but that happens. I was just so glad to be able to be seen, they were super friendly and professional, and were super helpful in helping me get what I needed. 1 day in and I am feeling SO much better! Thank you to Midwest Express Clinic - the only place I will go again in the future if I need a minute clinic. =)

I have had Covid testing at a couple of different locations, but this was an experience better than most! They have a good system to waste as little of your time as possible and free parking in a lot right across the street. I scheduled my wait in line reservation online at 3 for a 3:30 on a Saturday and was totally done by 4:30. The nurse and doctor I worked with were so pleasant and friendly. The waiting room and exam rooms felt impeccably clean! They are open 8-8 every day which is extremely helpful. I will be going back should I need a last min walk in clinic. I highly recommend Shannon!

Great urgent care. My first time here was awesome, the team was able to assist with what I needed in a timely fashion. Everyone was also pleasant throughout my time of being seen 👍🏾

My experience at Midwest was exceptional. I completed check in info the evening prior. Signed in when I got there. Everyone was very professional. Didn’t wait too long to be serviced. This was my second time at this location. Would recommend for urgent care!

Great experience here! I came in as a walk-in on a day that the office was closing early, a little less than an hour before they were closing. I HATE inconveniencing people, but the receptionist assured me that it was no problem and I would be seen no problem. She was quick, professional, and kind. The nurse and physician were both very kind and thorough as well. I was in and out in no time, but without feeling rushed. She sent my prescription over immediately and gave me tips on how to help with cough suppressant (because developing allergies at age 27 is a blast). Thank you to Olivia, Nicole, and Andrea!!

I have been here several times and have recommended it to others. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and kind, the doctors are nice and helpful. It is how you want to be treated in the healthcare field! Just a wonderful staff!
